Today was a busy day. It was the first day in well over a year that Sean did not take a nap (and lived to tell about it...) We spent many hours at the Bayou City Art Festival in the Morning and early afternoon with the rest of the Pasta family. We bought a piece called "Aspen Progression" by Utah artist Owen Mortensen - it has 16 aspen leaves preserved at various stages from new growth to golden to decay.When we got home we could hear lots of fire engine sirens, which reminded us that it was open house at the Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department. We went for the first time and it was awesome. Sean and Barbara rode on the back of a fire engine and Sean got to sit in a medical rescue helicopter, which we then got to see take off. Sean's favorite part was the ambulance tour.
